The Sukrut UV Solution
Sukrut UV Systems installed the E-30001 UV Disinfection System for the 750 KLD sewage treatment plant in Chandigarh.
The system is intended for use in the plant’s wastewater disinfection process. UV disinfection can be incorporated into an STP treatment train to help reduce viable microorganisms in treated effluent before its intended discharge or reuse, subject to the plant’s design requirements and operating conditions.
The installation forms part of the facility’s wastewater treatment infrastructure and demonstrates the use of UV technology in municipal sewage treatment applications.
The MCS Plus™ range is engineered for water-treatment applications where both flow rate and UV dose requirements are significant.
The system incorporates multiple UV lamps within the reactor, allowing water passing through the chamber to receive the required UV exposure.
Its reactor design is optimized to support effective UV dose distribution throughout the treatment chamber, helping deliver consistent treatment across the water flow.
